Racing for  a Cure

“LEGACY CUP”

Every driver will have an individual fundraising page linked to their name when they register. Their unique fundraising page will be publicly accessible to anyone who may wish to make a donation directly to the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation.

We encourage each driver to share their unique page and donation link with their friends, family and business associates. By doing so we are exponentially broadening the awareness that we are bringing to this amazing cause and these Stollery families in need.
The Drivers fundraising pages are optional to use and you may bypass this option if you wish. You are not forced to fundraise.

For the past three years, we have awarded to one driver the Racing for a Cure “LEGACY CUP”

Drivers can earn points throughout the year leading up to the event. This component has been structured so everyone has an opportunity to win based on their own strong suits. Points will be awarded for such things as:

Racing for  a Cure “LEGACY CUP”:
1.) Early registration

2.) Follow Racing for a Cure on Instagram and Facebook

3.) Instagram posts/reposts  that you make on your own page that are tagged with @racingforacure.ca #racingforacure

4.) Facebook posts/reposts that you make on your own page that are tagged with @racingforacure #racingforacure.ca

5.) Getting other drivers to join up

6.) Fundraising

7.) Helping secure corporate  sponsorships

8.) Promoting positivity about all aspects of this event

9.) Getting people to the Gala

10.) Volunteering

Winner of the Racing for a Cure Legacy Cup will have his or her name engraved on it for future winners to see.

The sooner you register the more time you have to become the Legacy Cup winner and top fundraiser!

VIP Stollery Children

The Racing for a Cure VIP children are past and current patients of the Stollery Children’s Hospital that have been treated for a number of conditions and diseases.  We are able to accommodate a wide variety of ages and we always include siblings as VIP children as well.  These kids and their families enjoy a full day experience of helicopter rides, rides in exotic and custom cars, lunch with their drivers, free activites, VIP swag and much much more.
